March 19, Sunday, ANNUAL SANTA CRUZ BRITISH MOTORCAR CLUB MEETING, Tour, Member's car show, lunch awards and meeting.
April 8, Saturday, River Road Moonshine Run, Club meets at Watsonville Chevron at 129 and highway 1 at 9:00am, then drives to Ginny and Elliott"s home off of highway 68 for coffee and pastry. Tour visits Fogʼs End Distillery in Gonzalas. Continue over to Greenfield for a stop at funky Royʼs Sausage Factory. Continues over to southwest side of valley and stop at winery for a prepaid lunch and wine tasting. Tour Leaders: Irene Medzyk, Jenny & Elliot Brown
April 15, Saturday, South Country Backroads TourOur member Joe Cain plans this regular event each year for the SCBMC and TTSCC. It includes scenic driving routes in South County, stop for lunch, surprise stops at tourists attractions and in general, a full day of activity. May 7 and 8, Saturday and Sunday, Central Coast Classic RallyOur members Jeff Ebbage & Will Winkler planned this weekend event for our club. It is a limited registration fun rally. Saturday will include approximately four hours of non-freeway driving. Overnight accommodations, catered dinner and Sunday breakfast at the active military base, Fort Hunter Liggett. Sunday's drive takes us through Los Padres National forest and over the Santa Lucia range to Highway 1, then north to home for a three-hour drive. Further details and registration coming soon!
May 21, Sunday, All British Motor Vehicle Show & Swap Meet,Held at Dixon Fair Grounds on North First Street. 200-250 cars, to show your car a $30 pre-registration fee is due by May 4th. June 24 Saturday, Portola Valley/Alpine RailroadSCBMC member Rye Livingston planned this event for TTSCC & our club is invited. This is a fantastic private park with amazing scale models of real steam engines large enough to ride. We did this a few years ago. Donʼt miss it a second time. July 30, Sunday, Hidden Roads TourSCBMC member Dave DellʼAquila is planning this special club tour of hidden roads in Santa Cruz County. The day will include lunch and scenic stops. More details to come.

August 15, Tuesday, Carmel -By-The-Sea Concours on the Avenue.This is a free show (for spectators) during the Monterey Historics week. Unfortunately, they have instituted a high entrant fee for anyone to show a car. Contact: Bill Meade 831-722-3253 may be driving down on Tuesday and could caravan down if others are interested. August 17 - 20, Thursday through Sunday, Rolex Monterey Motorsports ReunionHThe Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion is the largest event held during the famed Monterey Classic Car Week. Approximately 550 race cars are invited to compete in the world’s premier motoring event. Lots of crowds and great historic car displays. The club does not go as a group due to large crowds, waiting lines and high prices. However, you are urged to attend to see the world’s best collection of cars.
September 3, Sunday REDWOOD ROLL.This is a scenic drive into Santa Cruz Mountain roads by organizers and SCBMC members, Emile DellAquila and John Christensen. They have selected a new fun route and different restaurant for lunch this year. Time and meeting place will be announced closer to the event.
October 14 & 15, Saturday & Sunday, BRITISH FALL CLASSIC.In downtown Morgan Hill. This is our one remaining large British Car Show originally started by the SCBMC in 1993. Please support it or we will have no local show. The show features British sedans, saloons, sports cars, etc. Now organized by On The Road Again restoration shop, Bill Hiland 408-782-1100. ON GOING WEEKEND CASUAL GATHERINGS
Canepa’s Cars and Coffee, Scotts ValleyStarting on April 9th, and continuing on every second Saturday until October from 8am-12pm and is free to the public. Canepa will open its doors (and parking lot) for a coffee-fueled celebration of all things automotive. Roll out your pride and joy and join your fellow leadfoots for an amazing morning of classics, exotics, race cars, hot rods, and motorcycles.
